Ed and Therese Milestone are experienced residential real estate professionals and did a wonderful job of helping us sell our condominium in San Francisco. They both know the City extremely well and are very well versed in all the intricacies and quirks that make the San Francisco residential real estate market special and unique. With their assistance, we received multiple offers for our condo in the City and the winning bid was over $200,000 above the listed sales price. We initially approached the Milestones a couple of years ago about selling our property. For a variety of reasons, we weren’t able to pull the trigger and by the time we circled back with them the real estate market had significantly cooled. Instead of proceeding in a depressed real estate market, Therese urged us to be patient. Fast forward a year or two later, the market had improved and we were ready to go. Both Ed and Therese were extremely helpful in explaining and providing us with options regarding pricing strategy, they provided access to their experienced painters and stagers, and they kept us informed throughout the various stages of the sale. Ed is also one of the nicest and most considerate guys around. Unprompted by us, prior to the sale, he freshened up our planter box and spread mulch at the base of a small tree in front of the condo. He also acts as a handyman and replaced the hose on the refrigerator, moved the stove for the painter and put it back when they were done. We’re very happy that we chose the Milestones to help us through this process and we’ll keep them in mind going forward with any of our future real estate endeavors in San Francisco.

Absolutely the best experience we’ve had with selling a home. It was a complete maze with the permits, documentation and approvals. From the very beginning up through the closing we were kept completely aware and comfortable with what was required from us. And as we were cross country it was all that more challenging. Therese and Ed Milestone are an incredible team. We hired them to sell our mixed-use property in Noe Valley, and quickly realized we hadn’t just hired realtors—we had a full project management team by our side. They handled every detail, from organizing repairs and refurbishments before staging, to communicating with occupants, all the way through the close of escrow. We have now worked with Ed and Therese on both ends of a transaction, as they helped us prepare and sell our previous condo. They were again wonderful partners for the process. We were sort of slow to finish our move from the old place, but they were patient and stayed in touch with us to make sure we had the right support. Once we were ready, they helped to coordinate all we needed to spruce up the place and have it ready to sell. When we saw the listing with all the photos, it really made us remember what drew us to the condo in the first place! Their guidance on pricing and listing timing worked out great, to where I think it was a good sale for both us and the buyers. We did hit a bit of a snag with the other agent after getting into contract, but they were able to keep things moving, and it worked out in the end. I'm still hoping my family will be settled in our current house for a long time, but I would definitely look to work with Ed and Therese again if we end up putting the house on the market.
