We're from DFW & wanted to find retirement property in the Cisco/Brownwood/Commanche area. Not being from the area, we wanted to work with someone local & Doug was the perfect fit. He was able to give us tons of info on the area; as well as help us maneuver the local regulations. Not living in the area & working full time, we could only come out on weekends. Doug always made himself available, even at short notice and was willing to let us drag him from property to property until we had seen everything we wanted to see in a day. I am so grateful for Doug. I have actually never met Doug in person. He was willing to take my basic property information over the phone. After he gathered all the information that he needed on my property he walked me through the process of listing it for sale. I really didn’t have to do anything but ask questions when needed. He always responded the same day I contacted him. He informed me from the beginning that my property would take a little longer to sale because of where it was located. He was very honest with me up front. After a year and a half I was getting frustrated. He would inform me every time someone was interested in it and then inform me as to why they weren’t interested in it anymore. I was never in the dark about what was going on. Once again he did all the hard work. All I had to do was sign. I had no experience with any of this before and I had no idea what I was doing. And all this was done through emails, phone calls and fedex. I am sad that we didn’t have the opportunity to meet in person but I am very thankful for having him on my side during this process. I would recommend him as a real estate agent in a heartbeat. He isn’t just a good realtor, he is a good and honest human being. His family, close friends and customers are lucky to have him.

Doug was helpful from the start of the process and throughout to the sale. We had a difficult project to sell because of the dollar amount needed to buy it, and a pecan orchard is not an everyday in the real estate world.
