Doris initially earned a degree in electrical engineering and subsequently earned graduate degrees in finance and math. Doris served as a tele-communications corporate manager for 15 years; and subsequently as President/Chief Financial Officer & Co-Owner of a private Christian Academy for 15 years. Doris also inspired young minds as a college math professor for 6.5 years. Doris has been a devoted wife of 35 years and the mother of an adult son and daughter, both graduates of the University System of Georgia. However, Doris is most fond of the title “Grammy”, from her beautiful 6-year old granddaughter.
