Our experience with Don was fantastic. We saw a good number of houses and he was very patient and understanding with my pickiness of things. Our closing was a nightmare (not anything Don could help) and Don did everything he could to move the closing along as effectively and quickly as possible. 10/10 recommend!

We moved from out of state back to Ohio a few years ago. We chose Don Shurts as our realtor from a Google search based on his online reviews. Don lived up to the reviews and more. We were downsizing and had to find the perfect place in the one day we would be in town. He committed the entire day to us and before it was over we had found a beautiful condo and signed on the dotted line. Don ensured we didn’t overpay and received the best value possible. He was professional, and caring and had our best interest as his priority. On the day of closing, we stopped in to do a final walkthrough on a Friday afternoon and found the air conditioning wasn’t working. It was going to be 90* that weekend as we moved in. Don stayed behind as we went to closing and went above and beyond to have the AC repaired before we returned. We would highly recommend Don and Cyndi Shurts to anyone buying or selling their home.

He has been doing this for a long time and has knowledge of all the details of the industry and the process to navigate it. He patiently walked us through finding a home, listening to what we were looking for, and keeping an eye out for homes that might be a good fit. He advised us on how best to approach viewing homes and making offers in a Seller’s Market. When we saw a home we wanted to look at, he would often secure a viewing that day or the next and was always good about returning calls promptly. When it came to selling our previous home, Don guided us through which updates were worthwhile to carry out without breaking the bank. He also worked with someone to lightly stage our home to add to the warmth when prospective buyers were viewing our home. In the span of a few days, we had numerous viewings and nine offers. Ultimately, we were able to sell our home for a substantial profit. Don is a kind soul who cares about you as a person and is easy to work with. He is also discerning and appropriately aggressive to help achieve your real estate goals.

We moved from out of state and couldn’t even come and look at the house until closing. Our experience was above and beyond any expectations you would have for your realtor.
