Dodie Hamrick

I have no idea where the last reviewer came up with that. Completely off base. I've had extensive experience working with Dodie, having bought and sold 3 homes with her over an 11 year period. She's been a fantastic realtor that I would highly recommend. I always found her to be hard working, tireless, and an unquestioned expert on the Atlanta area. <br/><br/>Dodie has always gone out of her way to be available, often working long hours to help me find the perfect home. I can't imagine ever using another realtor in the Atlanta area.

We were in a relocation situation this year (this is not the first time we have gone through this situation - just call us 'professional movers'). I have known a lot of realtors in my time. Many have been lazy. Some have been busy. Few have been great. Relo presents you with two realtors to choose from. They come over, give their pitches, evaluate the property, send in all the paperwork - they do what realtors do. Dodie said she live in my town, Milton, and was well aware of the local market. She was personable on the phone and nice in person. However, she couldn't seem to get her paperwork in on time - she took 4X the length of the deadline just to turn in the paperwork ('imagine what she would do if we were in an offer situation', I wondered to myself). Then the comps she had printed out for me and the comps that she included on the report were completely different. On her sales pitch, she included my neighborhood - but on the paperwork she included an entirely different area. Did she forget where I lived? We chose the other realtor (from KW in Roswell), who is superb so far. Dodie to me seemed like one of those realtors who want the job because 'they can make their own schedule' - not one who wanted to help or fight for me. I definitely research my realtors online, because for them, your online inquiry or relo order is free money for them. I want the best team on my side during one of the most stressful events of one's life. Dodie was not going to cut it. But I think my new realtor will be one of the few great ones.
