My husband and I have purchased many homes in many states throughout the years. When we decided to move to Saint Petersburg 3 years ago we hired the DJ Soucy group to help us find our home. DJ’s lead buyer’s agent, Jared Rosenberg, helped us find and secure our home on Snell Isle. There was never any pressure nor any doubt that they had our best interests in mind. That’s hard to say when dealing with agents. Jared fought for us and won! We had such a wonderful experience that we chose to have Jared and DJ help us find two other homes in the area as investment properties. Again, they did not disappoint! Our first 2 home purchases were when Covid was ramping up. Jared was so diligent to make sure we, as well as, the sellers were safe and protected. That meant a lot to us! Our third home purchase was during the insane market that we are only now coming off of. He helped us get that home for under asking and under appraisal!! That was a HUGE thing for us during such a difficult period of time for buyers! DJ’s group is absolutely fabulous and has their clients back! We will absolutely use them again when the time comes!
We absolutely loved working with Jennifer LaPierre at DJ Soucy Group! From my first conversation with Jennifer I knew that it was a great match. Being first-time homebuyers AND moving from out of state, we needed someone we could trust and Jennifer was that person. She was extremely responsive and truly had our best interests in mind. When we liked certain houses, she even drove around the neighborhood to video the surroundings for us. She was able to help find us our new home after just a few weeks of working together. We would work with her again in a heartbeat!
There is little fun to be had in selling or buying a house. Thankfully DJ and his entire team provided concierge level of customer service to try and smooth out the rough parts of moving, and provided timely and thoughtful opinions based on experience and knowledge.
I was going to sell on my own, but when I talked to DJ, after all the good things I heard about him and the great things he had done for other sellers that I personally know, I hired him. The video he created to showcase the house was so good, that it basically sold the home before the showing, lol. The old saying, "a picture is worth a thousand words, but video is worth a million", is so true. I told DJ at the end, that I really didn't use h as a Real Estate Agent, but more like a Coach or Therapist, lol. Selling a house, cleaning, prepping, packing and negotiating is a lot to do in a short amount of time, which causes a lot of subliminal stress, not to mention the regular stress. DJ's calm demeanor kept me "off the ledge" on a few occasions during the selling ordeal, lol. His selling strategy was spot on in the current Historic Kenwood market and I got more than market which paid for himself and any negotiation enhancements easily. I would easily hire him and have gladly recommended to others, who have already hired him. Just one tip......when you put your house on the market, be ready to move because DJ will sell it faster than you might think, so be ready, lol. I was ready, assuming he would, and DJ will keep you on task (as the Coach). His whole team are equally on task, pleasant and I would rate them as "above expectation".
