One of the first things Dez told me, "You have to be realistic. BUT don't settle". As a first time home-buyer, it meant the world to have someone who would keep me grounded and remind me we'd find the perfect place for me. Dez was exuberant, very knowledgeable, and patient. With each location we visited, she watched my reaction, asked probing questions, and always followed up on my questions. She would go over what locations we had seen that day or on a different day and compare the pros/cons to help identify what would work best for me. We discussed distance to family and work, safety, environment, etc. More so, Dez kept me on track with all my to-dos, keeping me in the loop on all negotiations, and breaking down information in a way that made sense to me.
