As a first-time homebuyer, my experience with Del was wonderful. When I began my search, I wasn't entirely sure exactly what I wanted/needed; I was a bit all over the place. It took some time, but she made note of all the things that really interested me in the homes we looked at. Del helped me figure out what would really make "the one" for me given the somewhat limited information that I offered her. She wasn't pushy, which was wonderful for me. I'm a bit of a pushover, but she never pushed me into a sale. She helped me understand what a big investment I was making and how important it was that I not just settle on something acceptable. That said, she let me make my own decisions; when I decided on a home and Del thought we could do better, she told me as much (not so bluntly!) and made me evaluate that we were doing what was best for me, but still helped me move forward with it. During the negotiation for that house, she realized how likely I was to be taken advantage of and helped me walk away from a bad deal (and she told me she was glad I walked away from it!). I could tell that Del has a busy life (inside of work and out) but she always made time for me and was always clear about when she had other responsibilities and would be unable to show me a home.
