Due to an emergency health situation with my 99-year-old uncle and 82-year-old aunt, we had to move them to my hometown in another state. Deborah Kernahan and her business partner, Kay Fields, had visited with them for years, and my aunt was determined to use 'the girls who had always been so sincerely nice to her'. They literally told us to take what we wanted out of the home and walk away, and they would do the rest. What a weight was lifted!! Deb and Kay had to completely take charge of everything from the estate sale, repairs and maintenance, clean up and then selling the home. To say Deb and her team went above and beyond, simply isn't giving them enough credit. They were exceptional! Our sale wasn't that simple as we had tenants in the home, with no interest of leaving early. She built a relationship with them, earned their trust and eventually aligned with them on a plan that allowed us to show the home. After the first showing, they generated 5 offers, all over asking, many of which provided the option for the current tenants to remain in the home. This was incredibly important because selling the home wasn't just about getting the best price but also ensuring the tenants were taken care. The outcome Deb generated certainly did that.
