All went very well and we got a very good price

Our experience with David VanDam was wonderful…and quite unique. I first spoke to David from our home in New York over a year ago. We were planning to move to Grand Rapids. I’d spotted a condo listing online and contacted the Realtor who happened to be David. He began sending me listings and we spoke often on the phone. I was impressed with his knowledge, responsiveness, professionalism and friendly demeanor. We sold our house, came to Grand Rapids, rented an apartment and began a search for a condo with David who showed us places for over a year. His patience was amazing as was his knowledge of the market. Equally important was his eye for quality construction as well as his skill at evaluating the age and condition of heating, plumbing, A/C and other essentials. He is a great listener and paid close attention to our needs, desires and priorities. We finally bought a condo which happened to be a “sale by owner,” meaning David was not going to get a commission. Still, he stuck with us and represented us throughout the process. Although he didn’t have to, David attended the closing. During the meeting he was extremely helpful, and even went out of his way to help the seller who was troubled over some details. His knowledge and easy going manner prevailed. For more than a year David went above and beyond expectations on every level. David VanDam began as our realtor and ended up as our friend. We can’t say enough about him.
