Fantastic experiance

My experience working with David Otero during each of three real estate transactions spanning over a decade could not have been more positive. David’s knowledge of the market, his communication skills, attention to detail and stable of contractors is exemplary. Several years after David assisted my husband and me in the successful sale of one home and purchase of another, I asked him to assist me in a home sale due to the untimely death of my husband. We worked as a team and I didn’t feel alone because I knew that David had my back. Due to an out of state move, working with other realtors has been difficult due to the realtor bar being set so high, but the knowledge I learned from David has continued to help me in subsequent real estate transactions.

David was a pleasure to work with. He worked hard to market our property to his extensive contacts, kept in constant touch about developments and helped us sort through the multiple competitive offers that we received. He got us an amount very significantly over the asking price and the deal closed for cash in a week. He made the process painless and simple for us.

David found us a beautiful house in Berkeley. We looked at a number of places in the area. David drew upon his wealth of knowledge about the real estate market in Berkeley, construction, codes and regulations, even his knowledge of the health of the trees on each property to guide us through the process. At no time did he pressure us. When we underbid and lost out on a home he said “Don’t worry we”ll find the right one.” We found the right one shortly thereafter ....and found ourselves in a bidding war with 24 other buyers. David strategized and presented well and we walked away with the house of our dreams.

David is a true professional. He anticipated everything that needed to be done for selling our parents' home and took care of it, such as scheduling the sewer lateral replacement and various inspections. He helped us line up contractors for the renovation. He also was not afraid to get his hands dirty when things needed to get done, even installing the new oven for me! When it was time to put our house on the market, the COVID-19 outbreak had just begun, and so we were entering a tough market. Not to worry, though. David guided us during this challenging time, calmly and skillfully. He stayed in touch with all potential buyers and always kept us in the loop about what was happening. We are happy to now have a sold property. David is easy to work with, and I would highly recommend him!
