I first met David at my dining room table, he had a big folder full of homes for sale in the area with similar acreage and square footage, and many other pages that detailed the contract I would sign. He was precise in his knowledge of everything, and made sure I understood what each step entailed. I was selling my one and only home, and his demeanor calmed me from the start. He stated what he thought the house would sell for, giving me a bracket, and at the sale it fell almost in the middle. After all the business, he endeared me by saying he loved my giant hosta, which had been growing in my garden for 30 years. David's attention during the actual process of selling was a lifesaver, I was in my new home 200 miles away, and complications of unpaid property taxes, a possible lien from a mortgage that had not been properly discharged, led to many many emails, texts and phone calls, including prompts through the participating lawyers. Without David's timely alerts I would never have met the signing deadline, which was down to the minute! I was so grateful I bought David a hosta t-shirt as a rather unusual gift, and mentioned he should go buy one and put it in a big pot! And he did!
