Dave, had an excellent understanding of the real estate market in the area. Offered many pros and cons about how to present the house; as is, value of renovating, buyer interests. Dave, kept us informed and updated on a regular basis. He provided details and gave us ample time to make decisions. The million dollar question seemed to revolve around how much to renovate. A very difficult question with no guarantee. Dave, was able to show comparable renovated homes which helped for us to determine how much renovation we went with. The biggest value the Dave provided was his management of the renovations. We had already moved out of the area, prior to the renovations being completed. His management and referrals of contractors was priceless. Referring, directing and managing the work on a regular basis was indispensable. This, to us is what earned his commission.
Dave is a great realtor! He really does make you feel like his only client. He is super available and communicates so well. He also has a lot of empathy for the stress involved in buying or selling a home. He definitely went above and beyond in order to curb some of that stress. Dave was an amazing guide in helping my daughter and me locate a new home for her family after they relocated from Florida. He always made time for us, responding to questions promptly and arranging more than a dozen house tours across the metro area. After one particularly long day of tours, Dave noticed a house that had just appeared in the listings in our price range and in a desirable neighborhood and sent the listing for my daughter to view. He contacted the seller's agent and arranged for us to see it that evening, making a 40-mile drive at dinner time to meet us there. The house was love at first sight for my daughter. The first words out of her mouth when we walked through the door were, "This is my house." Dave has been such a help over and beyond for me, I met him like 3 years ago. When i was just looking at an open house and after we became friends. He helped me from the beginning to the end process. David showed what a real estate agent should be. David was always attentive with listening to my request and open to my requests even though it wasn’t the norm for the Market. That is key since all houses are not the same and not always based on what statistics show. Too many real-estate agents loose sight of that. David was was always responsive with returning phone calls. David showed prose in his marketing skills beyond what I have seen with other real estate agents. He was extremely helpful with details to not only help get the house ready but also “after the sale” helpful with his knowledge of companies that could assist with our move. Dave was a great agent who pretty much understood he would not likely get our listing because of distance from Longmont. He mostly overcame those odds on his first visit. It did present some challenges for him but he saw them as opportunities and keep moving forward. He is a flat out good person who never quits being that person when times get testy.
