Darcie worked diligently to market our home. She scheduled frequent open houses. if she was not available she made sure an associate would hold an open house on a weekly basis and this we are sure was the key to selling our home. In addition she was successful in doing a market analysis to price our home for maximum potential. This was the second home she has sold for us, and if we had another, Darcie Furnier would be the real estate agent we would choose.
Darcie was very professional, very willing to give of her time(on the phone and in the car) and accommodated me every time we went out to look at prospective homes. She was honest about price range and helped a home buying novice find the house that matched my expectations and price range. She had recommendations for people I needed to hire...like the mortgage lender, a house inspector and an honest assessment of what I should expect from taxes and utilities. She made getting my retirement home possible. A plot with trees, beautiful plantings, and a house with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace and wood floors! The northerner in me is very happy!
We were selling a home remotely (living in Wisconsin) so our sale was unique in that we did not have the ability to do the things needed before and while the house was on the market. Darcie had the resources and knowledge to get things done when we could not do them. It was comforting to know that Darcie had things handled and that she could be reached at almost any time.

My husband and I worked with Darcie personally in October 2019. Before October it was entirely via emails - as we would find houses we were interested in the Villages, Florida. She was always quick to respond and very helpful. She never made me feel that I was a pain in the butt with my endless questions! As our trip to The Villages crept closer we talked via phone and exchanged our cell numbers and calendar dates - she knew we were also working with a Villages Realtor directly. (If interested in the Villages properties - you need to obtain both types of realtors). She showed up on time and drove my husband and I around tirelessly. We were able to find the perfect home in a short period of time and the closing went so smoothly! Since we live in NYS and could not be there for the closing - she attended the home inspecation/final inspection on our behalf. We are renting the home out right now but will be visiting in May for a "staycation" in our new home - and can't wait! We found Darcie to be an excellent realtor. We were on a tight schedule to find a home in The Villages in a specific area in a tight market. She significantly narrowed the search list to those properties meeting our specific requirements--- which really helped prioritize the showings. She then very efficiently helped negotiate the final sales price and closing arrangements with a seller who was out of the country at the time. The whole process went as quickly, smoothly and efficiently as we could have ever hoped.
