Darby was an absolute pleasure to work with. She sold my home in 21 days and helped me find my perfect next home in a very competitive market. We beat our 18 offers with her creative approach and closed in less then 25 days. She looks out for her clients, works with a great team and keeps it real to manage your expectations etc. While I love my home, I know I’ll use her again in the future!

When we went to buy a home, naturally, I thought I would just handle the transaction. Not only am I a real estate attorney, but a significant part of my practice is in residential issues, helping buyers and sellers in complicated purchases or deals gone sideways. I work with agents on an almost daily basis and I have a pretty high standard when it comes to my expectations. Darby not only met, but exceeded those. I started off very skeptical of her as I often do with agents. But Darby's responsiveness and out-of-the-box strategies for handling what turned out to be a problematic escrow absolutely floored me. Darby came up with avenues to get the deal done that I frankly did not see or did not necessarily think would work. She is someone that I would call to run things by and brainstorm with on a complex transaction! They say it takes one to know one--Darby is a shrewd negotiator and advocate for her clients. She's intelligent and an absolutely tenacious bulldog. I'm proud to consider her now a professional and personal friend. And, it doesn't hurt that we now get to enjoy Sunsets in our beautiful yard thanks to her!

Darby was my agent in purchasing my home for myself and my two daughters. Darby did a fantastic job in providing everything we needed to sell my apartment. She counseled us on the best time to sell, how and why to stage, the needed repairs and even provided us with contacts to do both. She even dropped everything one Saturday afternoon to come to the apartment to address emergency repairs that were needed. The process was seamless and easy (which is hard to imagine in the current market)! Our open houses were well managed, and Darby managed to get at least 70 people in the door for our first open house! She even knew most of the agents that made offers on the property. Not only did Darby help us navigate the selling process, but her real estate acumen was on point during the escrow stage of the sale. Overall, Darby's knowledge and help were invaluable to the sale of my apartment! I wouldn't do real estate in Los Angeles without her!

I was looking to purchase a new home, and asked a friend if he could recommend his realtor. He gave me Darby's name and told me if I found a house that I really wanted, Darby would make sure I got it. Needless to say, I got the house I wanted. She knows the ins and outs of the sometimes complex process of buying and knows the market well. She personally sat through the paperwork with me and explained what was important and what can wait, which was a big help since there is a lot of paperwork when buying a house. She genuinely wanted me to win this deal. When buying or selling a home, you would want Darby on your team.

My husband and I could not be happier with our home buying experience. Darby showed us this house among many others that would not have been on our radar if not for her. She could read our needs even if we couldn’t clearly articulate what we were looking for, and she helped us envision what our home would look like after a remodel. She walked us through the inspection process and is well-connected to many professionals who made the inspection and repairs process as easy as possible. My husband and I are so happy in our new home and owe it all to Darby.
