As a first-time homebuyer, I was clueless and nervous. Damon earned my trust from our very first call with his abundance of knowledge. During showings he spent a lot of time pointing out all the things, big and small, to pay close attention to when looking at older homes, and he gave me advice on whether they were things to have a specialist fix, or things that could be DIY projects to save money. He answered my hundreds of questions with patience and humor, and even gave me advice on specifics to ask my mortgage officer about. Damon listened to my search criteria and sent me homes that matched nearly perfectly. He never rushed me, on the contrary he would spend extra time on the phone with me making sure I understood every detail. When we found the right home and I was nervous about a couple issues found during the inspection, he went out of his way to meet specialists to get us quotes when I was out of town! Super nice guy. I first met him in 2016 at a open house when I was looking to buy as a first time buyer with a PHFA loan - he took the time to break down the whole buying process for me and provided me with contact information to get pre-approved He ended up finding me the prefect house! I reached out to him again in 2023 to sell the same house as I was moving out of state for work. He made the selling process very smooth and had excellent communication about what was needed of me. As a first-time homebuyer, I can't say enough about my experience with Damon Watkins and highly recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a home. From beginning to end, he was very honest, considerate and very knowledgeable. Damon made buying our first home an absolute breeze and even gave us some laughs along the way! He was patient with us and really took the time to learn what we were looking for, and didn’t try to push us towards anything that wasn’t right. Every time we saw a house with Damon, he would go right down to the basement and explain any potential issues with the plumbing, hvac, structure, flooding, you name it! That’s how we knew he was looking out for us and was really determined to help us find a safe house for our family. The house we did end up buying, we weren’t even going to consider. But, Damon convinced us that we needed to see this house because we wouldn’t find anything else like it for a long time and it did check so many boxes. And it was perfect!! He helped us understand what it takes to make an offer that gets accepted, and we took his advice…and it worked! Our offer was accepted out of 3 others. He was then able to get the seller to agree to all of our requests after the inspection! Then, in the few days before closing there was an issue with a form from the sewer authority that almost delayed our closing, but Damon put pressure on all parties to get their ducks in a row, and even spent the day before driving paperwork all over the city to make sure the deal happened on time! I can’t imagine a harder working, more effective realtor exists.

Damon couldn’t be any better. He helped to make the entire process run as smooth as possible. If I ever need a agent in the future he will be the 1st one I call.
