We are not from the area where we were buying, so we relied a lot of finding a realtor based on things we read and research we did on agents, and then ultimately had a phone conversation with a couple and we landed on Dacia because she really seemed to know the market well, was very knowledgeable on what we were trying to do, was extremely relatable, very friendly, and we felt we were in good hands. We met with one or two agents who wanted us to replace lighting fixtures as well as other somewhat major improvements to the townhouse after we spent two years fixing it up. We felt they were imposing their individual tastes on what would make it sell better. Dacia took a look at it and said everything looked great as it was. We thought so too so Dacia was the one for us! When we sold our townhouse in Stones Throw the market had moved nicely the previous 12 months but we weren't sure what the top asking price could be. Dacia pulled all of the comps and then we had some long discussions. Dacia provided us market trends and HH insights but left the "deciding" up to us. We set a price, but then, at the very last minute before it listed, added $10K. Dacia made the update and then the first tour made an offer at full price. We still weren't sure if we could get more and didn't immediately accept the offer, waiting the full available response time to see what other buyers might offer. That ended up being the best one and we closed without a hiccup. But it was stressful at the time. Dacia was calm and kept us calm with her confidence. Inspection items were quickly responded to and resolved. It went seamlessly and everything from staging, photos, the listing, and all the way through the closing was perfect.
