We were first time home buyers who had done a lot of research and open houses on our own to get a sense of the northern Virginia and DC real estate market. When we were ready, we interviewed several great realtors but Coral stood out as exceptionally knowledgeable, capable, and warm. Working with Coral was such a positive experience. First, after just one day of taking us to listings and observing our personalities and preferences, she helped us realize what we actually valued, not just what we thought we valued, and that helped us refocus our search. Second, with each home we saw, Coral was proactive about pointing out things, big and small, that we would have completely missed otherwise -- it was hugely educational and helped us become more informed buyers. And lastly, when we found our home, Coral was a steady and reassuring hand that helped us navigate the process to settlement, and she didn't flinch at any of the hiccups along the way. They immediately understood my needs, including some peculiarities of the custom furniture and unusual collections that filled my house. When needed, they provided clear instructions, never overrode any of my decisions (but pointed out the consequences when I went somewhat astray), and made the entire process easy and comfortable. I also had some specific needs for the new property I would move into, and they found me an excellent new home that I’d undoubtedly not have discovered on my own. My interior decorating “style,” which involves intense colors, unusual artwork, and many feet of wall space dedicated to game, movie, and CD collections is not what appeals to potential buyers. I put Coral and Kelly in charge of renovation and redecorating, and they had the place redone in off-white, updated the fixtures, and then staged it with artwork less intimidating than my movie posters and fantasy artwork. They also recommended a local moving company that easily accommodated some last-minute changes when the property I planned to move to suddenly became unavailable, and I had to change my destination with little notice. I’ll probably move again in the next couple of years. I’m not sure if my next home will be in the area they serve, but if it is, I won’t consider anyone but Coral and Kelly.

I would recommend Coral without question to anyone looking to buy, sell or both. She understands the market, provides good counsel, communicates well and offers creative solutions to any issues that may arise. Her guidance during our purchase and sale were instrumental in getting what we wanted in both transactions.

This was our second and third time working with Coral (this time as buyer AND seller), the first time we were just buyers and new to the area. The first time I worked with Coral I'm pretty sure I described her as a "magical rainbow unicorn" and that still holds true! As first-time buyers in this area, Coral was phenomenal at acquainting us with the various neighborhoods, helping us think through the risks and rewards of various scenarios and homes, and even connecting us with not only our lender, who was great, but all the other people that are her tried and true contrctors for HVAC, plumbing, roof, inspections, etc. I still use all the people she recommended back then. After four years we sold that first house and bought in a slightly different area just 7 minutes away, and we were a lot more knowlegeable about our surroundings but Coral still was INVALUABLE in her detailed wisdom and advice. She can tell you what's normal that you think is odd, or what's odd that you didn't think was weird--she's a great sounding board and truly listens to what you want. I am an extremely frustrating person to work with, I'm sure, because my tastes are fickle and varied, and something you'd THINK i would like i actually don't and vice versa, and Coral rolled with the punches so well (while still pointing out my own inconsistencies and asking for more detail so she could better guide me). Coral does not put up with shenanigans from other agents or inspectors or buyers/sellers, and has a shrewd mind for negotiation, getting you the best deal without jeopardizing the whole thing by being unreasonable. As a seller, she's super skilled at pricing so that you don't waste time lingering on the market at too high a price, & our house ended up selling for exactly what she had anticipated. On top of all of this, she's FUN and a really good human. I was honestly a little sad when we were done bc I wouldn't get to see her as often! I honestly cannot imagine buying a house with anyone else.

In a challenging year we were so lucky to have coral by our side in finding our new family home together. We had each, separately, worked with Coral before. As we were discussing the possibility of buying a new home, we knew she was the only one to call. She helped make selling our condo and buying our home as stress free as possible, even during Covid and a very challenging market. We had a few definite needs and she found us a terrific house with exactly what we wanted! Coral cares. She REALLY cares. We have a terrific professional relationship with her, but more than that, we consider her a friend. She’s smart, driven, passionate, is a local pro, great communicator, knows her field well, and she will work tirelessly with you to find your dream home.
