Connie sold our home amid the slow down and soaring interest rates which slowed the real estate market down almost to a stop. She kept thinking of ways to market our home and attacked every angle which included open house dates. An open house is how she sold our home too.

I am always surprised when someone signs up with a real estate agent to sell their home but then doesn’t trust the advice they give them. The reason you hire a professional real estate agent to sell your home and/or find your new home is because that’s their business. You don’t ask a neighbor or family friend to fix your plumbing, or re-wire your home, or put in a pool so why would you let them dictate how to sell your home? We chose our agent, Connie Hughes, after we did extensive research on the internet regarding agents in our area; what their specialty was ( selling or buying, commercial or residential) , how successful they have been over the last ten years, how familiar they are with the area (We’re leaving and going to), and what the reviews say about them. We then set up a few appointments to “interview” the agents to find the best fit for us. Buying and/or selling your home is stressful and one of the biggest decisions you make in your life. We connected with Connie right away and she was very patient with us and willing to drive wherever she/we found houses to look at. She researched them thoroughly, had plenty of experts we could call in for additional questions (how much would it cost to remove a wall, renovate a kitchen, or do some electrical work). She not only pointed out the positive aspects of properties but also possible problems. She knows the market very well; differences between what a home is listed for and probable selling price. She fought for our “asks” when we found our home, and was so efficient at closing it seemed a breeze. She also assisted us in selling our existing home; helping us to stage it for viewings, determine best listing price and final selling price. She was fantastic and we still keep in touch. We highly recommend her to anyone selling or buying a home at any price point.

Connie helped me sell my father's home after his passing. The estate part of the process was complicated but Connie was quick with information needed and knew resources to consult when she didn't know the answer. Connie was very prompt in responses to emails, texts and calls. Connie was great from the price setting to showings to fielding offers and negotiations.
