Cone Darnell was raised and educated in South Tampa, Florida, where she attended the Academy of Holy Names, Plant High School, and the University of Tampa, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Cone’s background in corporate human resources and professional volunteerism gives her the ability to be a decisive thinker, thoughtful listener, collaborator and organizer. Her complete range of skills translated well to the real estate industry.
Cone returned to her Gulf Coast Florida roots after relocating to Atlanta, GA in 1995 for 18 years and raised her two boys. She began her real estate career in December 2012. Cone began working with buyers and sellers of barrier island properties on Little Gasparilla Island in Placida, Florida, where she was a third generation property owner.
Cone Darnell quickly achieved success with an approach centered on education, communication, and above all - exceptional service. She combines a life-long knowledge of Florida's Gulf Coast with her fine-tuned real estate expertise. Cone is active in the South Tampa, FL real estate market, Englewood, Placida, Brooksville, and Dade City. Cone maintains relationships with family, friends, the Junior League of Tampa as an active sustaining member, and The University of Tampa Alumni.
Cone enjoys rural country style living with her husband in Dade City, FL and she also enjoys mountain vacationing from their cabin in Highlands, NC. In her spare time, Cone can be found boating and fishing Florida’s Gulf Coast’s sparkling waters, hiking in the Nantahala National Forest, or spending quality time with family, friends, and their three dogs.
