About Colleen

During the decade that Colleen Sullivan lived and worked in the publishing business in Philadelphia, she came to clearly understand the vast difference between the long winters of the Northeast and the gentleness of Hawaii’s tropical climate. After two vacations to the Hawaiian Islands, she finally decided to make the move—with a one-way ticket, one suitcase, and a dream of creating a beautiful island life. Her mind was made up for good then that Hawaii would become her new home. Soon after arriving in Kona, she met her future husband, Timo, a Big-Island-raised geospatial research specialist at The University of Hawai’i, Hilo. Several months later, she also began working in the Marketing Department at Clark Realty. When Timo and Colleen purchased their first home together in Hilo in 2016, she was able to closely observe the sales side of real estate with a new perspective. This planted the seed that eventually led her to become a licensed agent. Now, she is able to combine both her expertise in real estate marketing with her background in contract negotiation and insights into the mortgage, inspection, appraisal, and escrow processes. Colleen’s vivacious personality, tenacious work ethic, and years of experience in marketing combine perfectly with her passion for all things real estate. She is committed to serving every client with the highest level of professionalism and integrity while making the purchase or sale process as enjoyable as possible. Colleen is also a Registered Yoga Instructor and teaches regularly at Yoga Centered Studio in downtown Hilo.
