Another sign of her experience--she was unsurprised as over the course of a couple months searching, our 'together house' criteria evolved a lot. One wants a realtor who is flexible and tenacious, and Colleen is just that. While in a neighborhood for one house, I ran across another house she had not arranged to see for that day's tour. Undeterred, while I looked through the windows, she called a series of folks to chase down the listing agent and get access to the house. Maybe most importantly, Colleen is patient and puts her clients first. She's not just trying to quickly close deals. We found a home we loved which had another interested party writing an offer to be submitted the next day. Colleen wrote up a competitive offer for us and told us to sleep on it overnight. That night we got cold feet and decided not to move forward. She simply said, 'ok, lets keep looking'. She didn't try to push us toward a deal that didn't feel right. Finally, Colleen is just plain nice and personable. Again, you'd think all realtors would be like that but they're not. Colleen is far ahead of the pack.
