From the first day I met them, Colleen and Bruce impeccably guided me thru a very difficult situation. They immediately lessened my anxiety dealing with the sale of my Brother's home. Part of their service was to arrange for the repairs needed. They helped clean out the house and garage and arranged for the donation of the items to either a charity or for disposal. Bruce even took all the equipment back to Spectrum for me!. I live 1 1/2 hours away and all the documents were emailed to me to sign. The whole process was made so easy for me. Working as a team, Colleen and Bruce were constantly on top of sales in our area and worked well with each other and the other people needed to complete the sale. They were very responsive in returning calls and answered all our questions in minutes, no matter when we called. Bruce took care of our property, keeping our yards presentable. As we moved out and left the house with furniture and many objects we didn't want, they cleaned the house and sold or donated all that was left behind. They did an outstanding job! Following the loss of our father less than two years ago, our mother had decided to update their house so that she could both make the most of it in the coming years and not have to worry about those normal household issues as she got older. My brother and I were more than happy to help her with the changes she wanted but sadly for us, she was unexpectedly reunited with our father just as we were completing the final updates. We were sad, of course, but it also felt like the house was sad too: empty, quiet, dark and 150 miles away from where we worked and lived. When my brother and I finally decided to sell the house, we knew we needed to find the right realtors for mom’s house and for us as well; We needed someone who understood what it is like to sell mom’s house. True to their word, they managed removal of all unwanted items via donation or disposal, keeping the vehicle in running condition, delivering the vehicle for transport to northern California, delivery of boxes and artwork to the UPS store for shipment, making untold telephone calls to service providers on our behalf, and more. There was never a "No" uttered when we asked for their help because we could not fly down to deal with all of the details arising during the marketing and selling process. Telephone and email communication about market conditions, showings, potential interest, was constant, substantive and very informative. We never had a question unanswered, and both Colleen and Bruce were always available. They are unfailingly very professional, as well as genuinely friendly. We have no doubt that without their real estate guidance and management of the property, we would still be looking for a buyer instead of celebrating a sale.
