With a career specializing in communication, technology, and education, Colin is perfectly equipped for real estate sales. He understands that buying or selling one's home can often be the single largest and most critical transaction of one's life, and that even for seasoned clients, every real estate transaction is of the utmost importance. With this in mind, Colin treats every transaction with singular focus, care, and attention, and every interaction as another opportunity for a lasting professional relationship.
Colin's background prior to entering real estate was in publishing and academia, where he worked first as a Technology Project Manager and then for more than a decade as an English Professor. He has both a Bachelor's (Reed College) and a Master's (University of Washington) in English. He has a passion for education, writing, and research, and enjoys providing assistance at every juncture of the sometimes complex process of buying or selling a home. When it comes to the critical elements of transactions such as marketing, negotiation, and project management, Colin excels.
Whether volunteering at Alameda Reads Adult Literacy or supporting the arts as the Executive Director of the Alameda International Film Festival, Colin believes deeply in the importance of community, and he brings the same values and commitments to real estate.
Whatever the goal may be, Colin's top priority is to help the client realize it, and with the additional resources of the incredible team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Colin is prepared to work closely with every client to achieve absolute success.
