Originally from Edgewood, I finished high school in Shadyside, & completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration & Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh. My family has been in Pittsburgh for generations. I've lived all over Allegheny County but settled in O'Hara Twp with my husband, raising a family of 4 children for the past 20+ years. I'm blessed to have family & friends all over the area. My personal history affords me a deep perspective of the region that helps my clients when buying or selling a home.
Whether I'm listing a property or working with buyers, the skills & experience gained throughout my business career contribute to my ability to successfully market a property & navigate the process of a real estate transaction. Real estate is an asset, & it's pivotal to consider when determining how to price or how much to pay for a property. It is an investment inasmuch as a place to call home. My father was an appraiser in the region for +/- 25 years; I attribute my ability to accurately assess the value of property largely to his guidance. My transition into the field of real estate was a natural one.
Beyond my knowledge & experience, the practice of real estate agency also allows me to act according to my value set & fulfill a need to advocate on behalf of others. I also get jazzed about everything homeownership means, including the beautiful right we still have in our country to own private property. Owning a home is still part of the American Dream!
A real estate transaction is a complicated one & frequently follows a milestone life event. It is an exciting & oftentimes emotional transition that requires a skilled perspective of the process. Finding that balance for my clients that hopefully become lifelong friends is always my goal!
