With a field that is saturated with agents; Catherine is a diamond in the rough. Not only did she help us find our dream home; Catherine got us a great deal. I was personally looking for lakefront property under $400k which is quite difficult. One day I had found some homes on Zillow. Catherine made the appt's with the ones whom were still occupied. Then there was this 1 home totally in the opposite direction; I told her it's all the way over there we don't have to go look. But Catherine was very into this home and talked me into going to look. It was the one (lakefront too) I am sooooo glad Catherine was persistant as we put an offer in that day. With a little back and forth our offer was accepted. I couldn't be more excited. Now comes the part that is truly honestly not believeable....The day before our home inspection a tropical storm came through (the most recent one that devastated the Carolina's) and produce a small tornado that ripped through the communiy. Tree's were ripped up from their roots, big trees, power poles knocked over. As we drove through the community some had tree's that fell on top of their homes. As you can expect we did not do the home inspection until after the owners had everything cleaned up. Finally the home inspection was done and the night before we were going to sign we found out that the sellers agent miss wrote on the listing that the home was public sewer. It was not; a septic of course. We had to hold off until the septic was inspected. That was no fun as it did have issues. The sellers where ready to pull out of the deal. Catherine worked her magic. Just as I thought my dream home was gone she negotiated a great deal and we finally closed. I would recommend Catherine to anyone looking. She was always available. Whenever we saw her she always had drinks and snacks ready for us. Plus not only can Catherine find your dream home she can work emergencies like tornado's and secret septics and still get you a great deal.
