We just happened to stumble upon Bill and Carol Burchfield outside of real estate. Wow, were we lucky to do so. Working with Carol and Bill is like a breath of fresh air. Professional, courteous, and straight forward. We have bought and sold several houses with them and each time has been a pleasant experience. Carol is always proactive in checking on the process from the offer all the way through the signing. She stays on top of things night and day to ensure if anything pops up, she has it solved. She is extremely knowledgeable about the market and the area. She listens to what you need and want with your transaction and finds the best solution. As a matter of fact, when it came time to sell my parents home in Florida, Carol spent several hours on the phone, interviewing and finding us a Realtor in Florida to use for that transaction. Bill was a wealth of experience from his past career in finance as well as the many years of real estate. He stays on top of the trends and market news to provide his input on the numbers. Together they are like a well oiled machine. They are always available by phone and email, even when away from the office. Even with this last transaction, they went above and beyond. The afternoon before closing, we discovered that we had Covid. We were supposed to sign the next morning at 9am and it was already 4pm the day before. Carol and Bill found a Notary willing to assist and arranged for us to meet him. They picked up the paper work from the attorney and took it to the notary so that we could go straight there to sign before they closed. We then dropped off the paperwork in the slot of the lawyers office. Crisis averted. Not only do we respect them as Realtors but also as friends. I can't imagine anyone in Myrtle Beach or the surrounding areas using any other Realtors. Great job to them both!

My wife and I were looking to sell our Townhome in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. After doing some research for real estate agents, we came across Bill and Carol Burchfield. We were looking for an experienced agent who knew the area, had a business/finance background, and above all else was honest. We also wanted someone who could take care of everything from listing to closing. After reading their bio’s, we read numerous reviews and decided to make the call. On a side note, we did not live in Murrells Inlets and would have to depend on their wisdom to guide us through the process.They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were organized, explained the process to us, and helped us price our townhome appropriately. They gave us timely and regular updates on what needed to be done and the status of what had been done. When offers came in, they also gave us good advice as to the pros and cons of each offer. So, what was the result of working with them? We had numerous showings and offers on the first day it was listed. We also had a signed contract that very same day. What did we learn from that experience? We learned that the Myrtle Beach real estate market is a very busy and chaotic place at present. Bill and Carol brought clarity to it so that we could make a great decision. From listing to closing, they were there for us answering any question that we had. Would we recommend them? Here are my thoughts regarding my wonderful experience specific to Carol and Bill Burchfield. With the recent passing of my mother, they managed the process of selling the house. Actually, they came very highly recommended by my mother's sister, who sold their house, five houses down from mother's property, a year or so prior. During this very difficult time of losing my mother whom I lived with and cared for for approximately four years, both Carol and Bill were so kind, patient, and understanding through the entire process. From them advising me as to the asking price, recommending a cleaning person prior to showing the property, to explaining every detail during the listing, showing, selling, and closing of the property. Mind you my mind was else where while grieving, working full time, and just piecing my life together wondering what my next season in life looked like. With that being said, the "Burchfield team" were just an incredible stabling force during this process. They are complete professionals, seemed to know 'everything about everything' regarding the sale of real estate. For that I can not thank them enough in the manner in which they handled the process of selling mother's property.I would surely recommend the "Burchfield team" to handle any situation regarding the sale of a property. In fact, I have already done so whenever the conversational situation has presented itself. Again, they far exceeded my expectations of selling the property during a very difficult time. I cannot thank both Carol and Bill enough from the bottom of my heart. They are both wonderful people, I have been blessed to have gotten to know and work with them. They are simply the best!
