Carmen's knowledge of Laguna Woods and surrounding areas areas is unsurpassed. This is my third time using her services and can't image using anybody else. She knows the target market of the area and she knows how to please her clients. Carmen asks all the right questions, even ones I never thought about. We first worked with Carmen Lindemann in 2018 to find a comfortable rental in Laguna Woods Village. With her help we found a lovely rental apartment. We rented for two years, looking at property to purchase in our second year, 2019. Carmen had to do much of the legwork for us since we were bicoastal and living elsewhere for half the year. Although Carmen got to thoroughly know our tastes, it still took time to find a property that was a good fit for us. When we finally found a condo that seemed perfect, Carmen very quickly placed a bid for us on the property. She made sure that the showing realtor communicated our offer to the owner within 24 hours, and immediately solicited a counter-offer. Her prompt actions avoided a bidding war, allowed us to purchase the house for less than the asking price, and facilitated a quick closing. In hindsight the timing was quite fortunate given the world health crisis which occurred just a few months later. All in all, my wife and I were delighted with Carmen's efforts with both the rental and well as home purchase and would highly recommend her, without reservations, to others interested in renting or buying in Laguna Woods -- she's a gem!

Carmen is a tenacious agent and keeps on going never mind what the obstacles are. We had someone back out at the last second and that did not deter Carmen, she just put in that extra effort to get the rental done for us. She also went out of her way to help us with other issues that would come up even if they were not directly related to the rental process and not part of her responsibility. Her goal appeared to be to make our life easier when she could. One key asset of hers is her familiarity with Laguna Woods and all the procedures involved with rentals. She did a very nice job of navigating through maze without us having to do much or get worried about deadlines and paperwork. The only criticism of her is the pound cake she personally made and gave us. We put on so many not-needed pounds! But that is part of her sweet personality.
