Once we found the perfect property he worked with us to make the right offer and stuck with us through the negotiation with the sellers. Didn't push us to spend more than we needed to. Also helped us through a very frustrating process where we almost fell out of escrow because our lender (Wells Fargo) failed to come through with an appraisal on schedule.

I grew up in the Bay and always dreamed of owning a home in SF, but never believed it was possible. We were living in the Pacific Northwest at the time but reached out to Carlos early 2019 as we wanted to understand the market and if we even had a chance. Over the course of a year we flew down a few times to look at homes in a batch of neighborhoods (even though we weren’t ready yet since we needed to sell our home). I called Carlos, and a day later was down to SF to look. That morning, the perfect home came on the market. It was so new I didn’t even review the listing, but Carlos did and he had a feeling it was the one… and it was. It was where we wanted to be, with a tunnel entry, two beautiful trees in the backyard, half block to the muni, a block to the restaurants, and two blocks to the park (all we wanted). He helped us put in an offer he felt gave us the best chance (he really understands the market, which is so critical in SF). We put in our offer and waited. I was set to head back north, but we went to look at the home one last time. While doing so, he got the call the offer was accepted and we both teared up with joy knowing my dream since I was little actually came true. Carlos is wonderful, and if we ever opt to move, he’ll absolutely be our agent again.
