Throughout the process, Candice has caused more harm and headache than help. To start with, she did not confirm with the bank I was using for the time to get an appraisal done. Once we went under contract, it was discovered that the bank could not get the appraisal complete in the time listed on the offer. To make it worse, both she and broker and me how long the bank would take instead of acting as an agent and solving the problem. I had to then rush, find another bank, get prequalified and ensure (on my own) that the appraisal time could be met. Next, I explicitly state that I want to use a specific inspection company and personally book the company for a specific time and date so I can be in attendance. Without notice or request, Candice decides on her own to change the time and date of the appointment. Luckily, I received notification in time to change the appointment back, but again, have to waste hours of my life to fix her mistake. Lastly, upon closing, she asks what time I can make it which can be done at either 10 or 11. I tell her 10 and she confirms. Cosing comes and I arrive before 10 to find out the closing is at 11. I ask the closing attorney why this wasn't communicated and was informed this was. I received copies of the emails from the attorney to Candice where she confirms 11 is no problem.I obviously was never informed of this. The fact that she got paid 3% commission for service of this level is absurd and I really wish there was a way for this to change. Buying a new home should exciting, but this was an absolute nightmare.
