We had a great experience with CaLee on the buy and sell of our home. We started with CaLee by canvassing the luxury, high-end neighborhoods in coastal South County. She was able to help us to identify what we wanted and narrow our focus down to Dana Point and South Laguna Beach. So when the perfect house came available, we were able to jump on it right away. CaLee was able to convince the seller to accept our offer at our original offer price....which was amazing in this market. On the sell side, we then had to move very quickly....and our house was not ready. CaLee was really amazing in her ability to bring an entire team to help whip our house into shape. Within about a week we had landscapers, pool repair, wood replacement, painting, stagers, window cleaners and cabinet repairs all completed. It was amazing how much she was able to transform the house in such a short period of time. We received multiple all cash, full price offers within a few days. Overall we would very strongly recommend CaLee. She has a strong moral compass and is obviously well respected by other realtors, contractors, etc in the market. That credibility really helped us to get the best result possible.
We found CaLee online when looking to relocate from Sydney to California for summer 2021. As everyone knows the housing market was red hot and finding/buying a home was difficult. Also given Covid restrictions, we were buying sight unseen from thousands of miles away. After speaking with CaLee on numerous occasions, we put an offer on a first house but we’re unsuccessful in our bid. We then decided to turn our attention to homes that needed more updating given we had a few months before our move. CaLee committed to help us in renovating our home and managing the process, while we spoke with her from Australia. It was a huge leap of faith, and a great success story. CaLee was incredible to work with, taking late night calls from Sydney, walking the aisles of flooring stores to pick stone, helping select countertops and fixtures, advising on paint colors, trim, wainscoting, and new wood floors. We spoke almost daily for 4 months. She helped us completely transform our home from 7,500 miles away. We can honestly say that our experience with CaLee was nothing short of amazing, and I would recommend her to anyone near or far looking for a truly one of a kind Realtor.
CaLee is a magician of sorts! She helped me and my husband buy our home which closed in September of 2021. We randomly saw her at an open house and it turns out we had met before. CaLee has helped us buy 2 homes and sell 2 homes. The first time working with her she was able to help us put an offer on a house that was unfortunately already in escrow and with some savvy negotiating tactics we were able to get the house. She then sold that house for us after helping us determine some smart upgrades to make the house marketable to a larger customer base. In the end she helped us wisely spend $15,000 to gain almost $80,000 on the sale price. The house was listed the day after Christmas and even with it being a holiday weekend we had back to back showings, and accepted an offer in 2 days with an over asking price backup offer negotiated just incase. The second home she helped us purchase she helped us negotiate down the price after the home and pool inspections showed almost $100,000 in immediate cost for deteriorating equipment throughout the house. We went on to sell that house only a year later, do to an out of state relocation, and at the time the market hadn't gone up enough to cover the cost of all the repairs seen and unseen, so we would have been taking a massive hit even after fixing all of the behind the scene systems of the house... so once again CaLee came in and helped us wisely remodel and we were able to sell for almost $350,000 above what we had bought it for the year prior. She had so much interest in the house that instead of scheduling random showings throughout the day we picked 3 days that we would vacate so she could get everyone scheduled and she did back to back 15 min showings for a few hours each day. She had over 30 showings and multiple offers and it ended up selling for $75,000 over asking at the end of our 3 day showing period.
