I tried to sale my house FSBH but I honestly didn't had enough time so decided to search for a flat free realtor. After contacting 3 other agencies we decided for Curtis because of his friendliness, and all the services that he provided at a great affordable rate. We chose the premium plan and requested the lockbox. The 3.5% that they say in the website is the buyer's realtor commission+ Curtis seller's commission of 0.5%. I wasn't in favor of decreasing the buyer's realtor fee because I witnessed how easily a buyer's realtor can steer you away from houses just because there's a small reduction of their fee in specific houses or areas. I didn't wanted to decrease my chances of getting more buyers because of this, and Curtis offered just that. We got a great offer within 2 weeks that the house formally appeared in the MLS with the professional pictures they took. We saved over $13,000 with Curtis just on seller's realtor fees. If we include the over $40,000 that another realtor wanted us to decrease on the house price so it could "sale faster", that's over $50,000 on saving!
He offered us the same service that any realtor would offer and yet saved us over $15,000 in commission over our house sale. We used their premium service that offer almost everything, including pictures, local MLS, the digital lock, etc. He also provided the info for a closing lawyer and every other thing we needed. Since his fee includes the 3% buyer's realtor fee, we didn't got desciminated by buyer's realtors and plenty of them brought buyers to our house. I had my house as for sale by owner for a bit more than a month before we decided to try him, and our house got sold a couple of weeks after we signed the contract with him.
