Once I PCS'ed to Hawaii, I reached out to Brandy on a whim. I was pretty sure based on the Hawaii real estate market and the way interest rates looked, that I was just going to accept whatever base housing was offered. However after discussing my financial situation, my family desires, and the Hawaii real estate market, I decided I would at least take a look. If I decided to buy, I would be on a bit of a time crunch, since I had already technically accepted a military housing offer. So, Brandy immediately started showing me properties that met our family's criteria. We looked at 30+ properties in just under a month. Several houses would have worked for our situation and to be completely transparent, we made a couple offers. One of our offers had a HOA that were starting assessments that was not disclosed previously and our other offer was not accepted by the homeowner (and the property is still on the market) since the homeowner wanted an unrealistic price for their property. Brandy was a real estate professional in both of these situations and recommended not moving forward, even though this meant she had to start over finding the next perfect property in the time crunch. Finally, we found the perfect house and were able to close in less than 20 days allowing me to move in prior to the military offered house! I couldn't be more happy with Brandy's services (and negotiation on my behalf) and my new home!
