There once was a time when all it took to transfer real estate was a simple handshake to seal a gentleman’s agreement. Unfortunately, those days are long gone. Today there seems to be an ever increasing number of rules, regulations and pitfalls in buying and selling real estate. In addition to normal legal requirements for sales contracts, real estate contacts must satisfy local, state and federal disclosure requirements and ordinances. Failure to properly address even one regulation can result in costly and time-consuming after-sale lawsuits. This is just one of the reasons it makes sense to use my services. As a full time professional real estate agent and lifetime resident of Fannin County, I have successfully guided my clients through many real estate transactions. As a licensed agent, I participate in on-going education to keep up-to-date on changes in requirements for real estate transactions.
