About Brandi

I was born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island. After high school, I left Hawaii to attend college in Denver, Colorado and pursued a degree in Veterinary Technology. Colorado’s picturesque landscapes were incredible, but I couldn’t resist the beauty of island life. Before I knew it, I was moving back home with 3 new fur-babies, which taught me all about traveling to Hawaii with pets. My initial interest in real estate took off after learning to navigate my own experiences as a homeowner. I’ve had the opportunity to work with lenders on several types of financing options. Over the last 10 years I’ve bought vacant land, sold a family home while navigating the probate process, started new home construction (twice!) from the ground up and oversaw the process through the Hawaii County planning and building departments. In addition, I am well versed on leasehold properties, specifically Hawaiian Homelands, having built my first home on leasehold land. Each of these situations came with its own set of challenges and rewards. I quickly learned that having a knowledgeable guide to educate and support me through the process was an invaluable resource. The gratitude I felt for my realtor’s sharp, but down to earth, approach inspired me to want to help others in the same way. Eventually I made the career shift to real estate, where I started as an assistant and transaction manager. These roles allowed me to learn from the best and provided me with valuable insight into the intricacies of the industry. From analyzing the market, to negotiations and paperwork, there is never a dull moment in this field. Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our beloved dogs. You can also find me working with a local resource conservation and development nonprofit, trying out new restaurants, or reading a good book when time allows. My priority as your agent is to bring a unique and personal understanding to your home ownership experience. You deserve to feel comfortable and informed with every part of the process.
