While I feel my time as a REALTOR® since 2012 more than qualifies me, I will expound and let you know that I've been involved with Real Estate and developing property since the 1970's; I actually negotiated my first multi-million dollar contract in the latter part of the 70's and then went on to own 2 sales companies while in California both of which I later sold and retired at age 51. Enjoyed 11 years in retirement but decided the need to come back into the workforce and thus began my association with RE/MAX 4000 - the top such company in the world btw and hugely so in the Grand Junction market.
Specific to the real estate world, locally I have served on the MLS Committee since 2014 and have done continuing education to receive the ABR® (Accredited Buyer’s Representative) and GREEN (advanced training in green building and sustainable business practices) designations by the NAR (National Association of REALTORS®). It should be obvious that I am a sustaining member of the NAR and a REALTOR®. I gained my CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designation in 2017 of which only 3% of REALTORS® nationwide have attained.
