We have JUST completed our 5th transaction with Belinda and her team. Two sales, two purchases, and one rental -- each time, she had been on top of everything and discussed strategies with us unique to each circumstance. In the latest one, the purchase of a vacation/second home in the Lake Arrowhead mountain community, she helped guide us and negotiate to the best of our interests. We ultimately closed below asking price when most homes still sold for at or above listing. Appraisal showed that we had scored a great deal on a home with no major, visible issues. She had oftentimes also saved us a lot of time by providing information that we had questions about not related to the real estate transaction itself. Matters like what to be aware of with living in the mountains, what the rules and regulations were surrounding Lake Arrowhead properties in regards to lake rights and membership, fire abatement and maintenance, and CA Fair Plan insurance. All that information, as a package, helped prepare us for mountain home ownership. Without her help, ownership would have been far more stressful having to hunt down information ourselves after escrow closed -- and potentially incurring fines by the County. It also helped us hone in on what exactly we wanted in a property. What the above also underscores is her desire to continuously learn not just for her own curiosity, but to also pass on that knowledge to advise her future clients with. Also of note: When the Lake Arrowhead purchase hit several snags with a difficult seller, she helped keep us calm to tackle the issues with some great strategies that only a level-headed, knowledgeable realtor could provide.
