My wife and I had been trying to sell our home for over two and a half years in a sluggish real estate market. We had few results from three previous realtors we had contracted with. One former realtor had even left the area and had not even informed us. By the time we were referred to Jody, I had retired from work and we had moved out of the country to be involved in a voluntary missionary work. We informed her that we had a designated Power of Attorney who could sign any necessary documents for us, and she explained that she had tools available to her using modern technology which would allow us to sign documents from abroad, which we were not aware of, so our P.O.A. would only need to be available to sign documents at closing. The circumstances surrounding the sale of our house were complicated to say the least. We were upside down and in a tough spot with the bank. Most realtors would have walked away from us. Our bank continued to make mistakes all along the way and delayed the process so long, buyers continually walked on us. Jody had to find different buyers for our home on four different occassions.
