I have had the opportunity to sell two houses with Jody Zink and her team – one in 2013 and one 2020. In both instances the houses sold quickly, for a fair price. Also, in both instances, I did EXACTLY what Jody said to do. It turns out that while I consider myself an expert in what I do for a living, I am not an expert in real estate. So I just listen to the advice of someone who is. In 2013 when the housing slump was in full swing we put our house on the market. We did everything Jody and her stager said to do – paint, remove decorative excess, etc. – we received a fair offer in six weeks. In fact, in a neighborhood of 200 houses it was the first house that sold that wasn’t a foreclosure that year. In 2020 I had to sell my mother’s house. It was a highly emotional time and a challenging sale. We did almost everything Jody and her stager said to do. This time it involved emptying the house, cleaning it and having it staged with furniture and decorations. We chose not to do a few expensive upgrades, and that was fine. We had a fair offer in two weeks. When you hire a Realtor, you’re paying a commission for a service. That services is NOT just listing and showing your house. It’s the expertise that comes from hundreds of transactions and the trends that can be spotted. Jody and her team are more than willing to hold your hand and walk you through the real estate wilderness. Let them.
Jody got the Job done! I was moving out of State and also had to rebuild the furnace to pass inspection. Her referral came out to fix it right after the polar vortex! She also referred Lovitt by design to stage the house. Together, they helped me get the house sold at my desirable price, even when I was away. We bought our house with the Jody Zink Team almost 4 years ago, and when we were ready to sell Jody and team were the first ones we called! We decided to sell very last minute and they were there to answer every question we had and get us on the market very quickly. We had tons of showing and multiple offers, all above list price in a matter of 3 days. The first offer we accepted the buyer backed out shortly but Jody & Denay were instantly on the phone contacting other offers to see if they were still interested and in the market to keep things moving. They were able to secure us an even better deal and the timeline only got shifted back by 1 week. Overall great experience and I can't say enough great things about Jody and Denay!
