Tricia was very focused on making the experience of selling our home a good one - she let us call the shots and provided us with all the information we needed to make informed decisions throughout the whole process. Tricia Vanderkoi saved my wife and me over $67,000 on the buying and selling of three houses since April 2016. She is by far the best Real Estate Agent that I have ever met. Tricia educates you and is extremely patient as she brokers the purchase or sale of your property. The last house Tricia sold for us was on the market for only 3 days, had 38 viewings and 8 serious offers above the listing price. At one point there were 12 adults looking with at least 4 realtors. We found Tricia very professional and highly educated on the process of selling our house. She explained the market, reviewed comparable homes and created a marketing strategy to sell our home quickly. She had new photos taken of the home, made changes to the staging, and created a great video showing off all the home had to offer. She took the initiative to schedule “open houses” and worked tirelessly to find potential buyers for our home. Her communication during the process was frequent and very transparent. Once we had a potential offer she worked with us and was our voice during the negotiations. She worked effectively with the buyer’s agent to resolve all of the issues and was very skilled at working through the process. Tricia was recommended to us by a friend. Our initial meeting with her went very well. She really took the time to listen to what we were looking for, and was honest about the market challenges that we may face. Fortunately, our dream home listed on the market the day we signed our agreement with Tricia. We went to look at it, and made an offer that weekend. Tricia really helped us to negotiate our offer, and was really knowledgeable about the process. We went under contract and closed about 30 days later. Tricia helped us through everything, and was there at our signing to congratulate us. Our time was short with her, but we still feel that we were in great hands!
We contacted Tricia to be our agent because I had friends who had her as an agent and said she works hard and is flexible in showing homes on wacky schedules. My work schedule allowed us to only view homes in the evening. When my wife and I came to Tricia we had a few "strict" wants that we felt we needed. We were specific about the city we wanted to live in, we wanted at least .20 acres of yard, a house big enough to raise three kids in, and visits to be made after 5:00 PM Mon-Fri. Tricia never questioned what we wanted and supported us. We were new to home buying since it was our first home. She gave us the knowledge on potential home dangers, like radon. She also turned us in the right direction for great local companies that do home inspections and other helpful tips. We never felt pressure from Tricia to just, "Settle" with a home. Even when we said we wanted one of the homes she took us through, her first words were, "I'm glad you feel like you have found a home. Would you like to go through it again to make sure this is your final choice?" We of course said, "Yes." She is also really good at negotiating with the sellers and making sure we got a home in good condition without us needing to do the fixing ups. Tricia is honest, trustworthy, and definitely has your best interest in mind. I feel that anyone else who uses Tricia as their agent can share a similar experience, as this one, after they go through the process with her.

Tricia is a client advocate, very knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to work with. She was so responsive every step of the way and we completed trusted her to help us buy and sell a house (she did each in less than a week!) we would recommend her to anyone in the Salt Lake area!
