I was unsure of what to expect before working with Ava because I had found her online instead of through a referral. I emailed her at close to midnight, asking if she could help me tour a house I was interested in. The very next day, she was touring the house with me. Ava truly looks after her client. She negotiated with the listing agent and got the lowest price possible for me. There were about four bids, including my own. Instead of pushing me to bid as high as possible, she suggested a price that was more reasonable with the house's current market value. Ava was also extremely quick to respond to my text messages and emails. I usually see a response from her within the first few minutes of my messages. If I wanted to see her in person to discuss something, she would always meet up with me on the same day. Ava always goes above and beyond. When my home inspection guy came by to check the house for minor and major problems, she insisted that he check to see if the AC was working. It wasn't. Was the thermostat or the AC broken? It's inexpensive to replace a thermostat but it would cost hundreds or even thousands to repair a broken AC. We had to figure it out now before we commit to the purchase. Ava quickly drove to a few stores until she finally found a thermostat in stock. Brian, the home inspector, replaced the thermostat and the AC ran perfectly! It has been very pleasant experience working with Ava to purchase our first home in United States! We are first-time home buyers, and live an-hour away from Irvine, very unfamiliar with this area. We started to check properties since Feb21, and finally closed the deal in Sep21. During the 8 months, Ava has always been proactive, supportive and very responsive. 1) Proactive: Ava firstly met with us to understand our needs. Then she arranged house tour, sent us the list of properties and printed property information beforehand for each time we went down there. In other times, she informed us if she saw good candidates that might match our needs. 2) Supportive: when each time we were interested / hesitated about an property, Ava provided professional advice to us based on her expertise and experience. In one case, Ava and her team thought the property that we (basically I) were interested was not a good one because of the neighborhood, she suggested us to give up. In several cases, we went into bidding war, Ava helped to communicate with selling agent to help us make reasonable bid. For the property we just purchased, she helped to negotiate the price. 3) Responsive: Ava basically replies messages and answers calls 24/7. As you can imaging, we had tons of questions about everything along the way, she was always very patient and answered our questions in detail. Finally and most importantly, Ava prioritizes her clients' interests and needs. She told me that she feels so fulfilled when she see her clients satisfied with their purchases, she values clients' satisfaction as the most meaningful thing in her job.
