I highly recommend working with Anne. She was both our seller's and buyer's agent (see caveat below) and in both roles we trusted her advice and depended on her insight to guide us through what is a very intense process! Reflections on the selling process: Anne helped us over a long period of time (like, a couple years) by talking us through the decision to renovate or sell. We chose renovate. Then COVID hit, renovation costs went through the roof, and so we chose to sell. She was our trusted advisor throughout -- she connected us with a gifted, ambitious (and lovely!) stager whose advice we followed to get the place ready to sell, and in the end we were happy with how it looked in photos, and how it showed during open houses. When we decided to sell we wanted to move very quickly, so the whole process was condensed. She responded to what we needed so we met our timeline and our goals. She called in an excellent team to help with our open houses, too. Reflections on buying: Anne worked with us for weeks to find places that met our specifications, and was super honest when she met us at properties that we were interested in. We came to trust that she'd tell us what we'd have to expect in terms of repairs when we moved in, and that was priceless. She also went above and beyond -- she'd offer to look after our kids so we could view properties, and ensure my aging mom had a friend while we traipsed up and down stairs. Eventually the home we wanted was one that she listed, so we worked with a different agent to bid and close, and it was a smooth process. Anne is the kind of person who will come on the final walk through, notice the flowers look dry, and pick up the hose to start watering. She'll also introduce you to your new neighbors. All in all top-notch service, and someone you can trust.

During the showing, she handled several problems that arose with the house quickly and effectively so that the showing was very successful. She then worked with buyers and buyers’ brokers to obtain attractive bids, which in my case exceeded expectations. She also guided me through the details of the transaction between the sale and the closing very efficiently, so that the whole experience from start to finish went very smoothly.
