Ann Reed helped us navigate thorough investigation of a new place from electrical to sewer to radon, etc. Unlike other realtors, she took a chance on us. We've had other realtors turn their back on us because we initially didn't qualify for a loan. But because we showed we had enough cash to close, she allowed for us to be our representation as a realtor and got us our property to close quickly and become home owners for the 1st time in our lives. Ann was a dream helping me relocate from out of state to Portland and find the perfect house. She introduced me to a mortgage broker who was able to set me up with financing. She was so very patient and worked with me through a deal that didn't go through. And didn't pressure me into buying a place that we found had many issues after inspection. Once we found the right place, she did a fantastic job in navigating the multiple offers and with the negotiation process. She is very skilled at what she does and is very trustworthy and ethical. My husband and I were first time homebuyers and Ann was so patient and helpful at every step of the process!Over a 5-6 month period, Ann helped us figure out what was truly important to us and took us to visit houses on weekends and week nights. We were nervous about taking such a big step and despite the fact that we changed our mind a few times, she remained patient and committed to helping us through the process. She was always incredibly responsive to our calls, emails, and texts, and willing to answer our many questions as we learned about the process. When it came time for us to write offers on houses, Ann helped us explore our options and craft offers that were both competitive and that we felt comfortable with. She coordinated all of our inspections and leveraged her contacts as both a real estate agent and interior designer to help us get contractors in to give bids so that we could negotiate with sellers. Since we were both busy with work, Ann stepped in to be at the house as our proxy and communicate with the contractors. Throughout the process, she kept us updated and on top of timelines. We actually pulled out of a house due to an inspection report so Ann actually did this for us twice! Thanks to Ann we were able to purchase a house that checked all of our boxes!
