
Angela Jackman
Angela is our neighbor. Because we knew her, my wife and I felt she could best help us navigate selling our investment property and buying another property. This process had implications beyond selling and buying property. We were wanting to upgrade the living situation for our two adult sons. So we were financially and emotionally invested in the decision to move forward with using Angela to list our condo and help us find a new home for our boys. What we did not figure on during this process was how hard Angela would work to meet our needs. She coached us through every detail of preparing to put the property on the market. This included recommendations for how we should address elements in the condo that would improve the looks of the condo (ie paint, carpet, blinds) and how to stage the condo to make it look fantastic for potential buyers. She had a professional take pitchers that she posted them on several sites. Angela guided us through the negotiations that are a part of the selling process, recommended tradesmen to help with repairs we had to make, and made sure we followed through with all the paperwork and documents that needed signing for the buyers agent and title company. Angela’s experience and knowledge of selling real estate was critical for us as we navigated selling an investment property. She suggested a process for us called a 1031. Basically this is a program that is available to people making a profit on a property but then using the proceeds to invest in another property. Because of her suggestion, we saved a large some of money we would have had to pay to the government. Angela personally stepped up to help us figure out a solution to a last minute issue on the morning of our closing! All in all, my wife and I were so thankful we asked Angela to be our seller agent. Her commitment to help us every step of the way was above and beyond what we expected. Angela is the reason our two boys are happily adjusting to their new home.
