ARC Realty is thrilled to welcome Andy Thrower as one of our ARC Realtors! Andy's journey to becoming a fully qualified Realtor began during his senior year at Arab High School, where he interned at Century 21 The Premiere Agency in Arab, Alabama. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Auburn University in 1997 and spent over 15 years in the telecommunications industry. However, his life took a pivotal turn when his son was diagnosed with cancer, igniting his passion for helping families facing similar challenges. Since 2009, Andy has served as the President of aTeam Ministries, where he and his wife, Jan, oversee operations and drive financial development to support the ministry's mission. As a parent who has navigated the complexities of pediatric cancer, Andy understands the emotional highs and lows families endure on this journey. Today, the Thrower family is grateful to share that Anderson, now 17, is cancer-free and enjoys an active lifestyle filled with outdoor adventures with fishing for the Vestavia High School Fishing Team. Their 20-year-old daughter, Avery, a sophomore at Auburn University, majoring in Marketing with a minor in graphic design is blossoming into a fantastic cook, savvy shopper, and social media influencer. After relocating within the Vestavia area in 2020, Andy empathizes with the challenges of deciding whether to sell, renovate, or move. Andy is actively involved in the Vestavia community, having served on the boards of the Vestavia Schools Foundation and Leadership Vestavia.
