She showed my wife and I several properties. Based on our conversations, she understood what we wanted and made meaningful suggestions. In the end we found a beautiful home like what we wanted, not what I had described. lol I have spent years in sales myself. I don't have patience for salespeople who are less than truthful with me or just don't know what they're doing. She was always truthful with me and proved she knows her stuff. That's a huge compliment, coming from me, the most difficult buyer in the world.

As a first-time homebuyer I was terrified of the whole process. My partner was pretty organized and collected about everything, but I never thought I would get through without a nervous breakdown. She answered our MANY questions without hesitation and made it seem like all the obstacles we were worried about were just part of an average day for her. We toured many listings and she was honest and professional when giving advice about each of them. No pressure to make a decision right away, even considering the highly competitive Portland market. We saw a few homes we liked, but did not love – and Amber kept saying “When it’s the right one, you’ll just know.” She helped us jump on our best choice at the just right time, negotiated firmly for what we wanted from the sellers and met us at the listing for inspections, taking measurements- and was by our side for signing with the title company. Amber is the best real estate professional I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable and "on top of her game" in every aspect of the real estate business, she is also very personable and friendly. I could go on and on about how fantastic Amber Deucher is! She is very knowledgable about the real estate market and always led us in the right direction.
