Allyson often finds herself giving back. It is her mission to lose herself in the service of others. Allyson has been in the philanthropic industry for over fifteen years giving back to various charitable organizations both personally and professionally. Before joining Danberry, Allyson dedicated her skills to the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association by managing six fundraising campaigns across the Northwest Ohio region as the company's Executive Director. She also provided mentorship to the AHA's Board of Directors in addition to managing a team of staff members to ensure the success of multiple fundraising campaigns. She also has extensive experience in sales within the hotel industry where she handled elite corporate accounts. Allyson continued her philanthropic efforts through the Danberry Treasure Chest. She led the efforts to develop the charitable organization into a successful 501(c)(3) which has raised over $1.5 million in proceeds and helped more than 1,000 local families in need. Allyson most recently served as Danberry's Vice President of Operations where she managed the technology platform in addition to spearheading the creation of Danberry's own full-service marketing department. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication and a minor in Human Resources from Ohio University and obtained her real estate certification through the Hondros College of Business. Allyson became a licensed REALTOR in 2020. Allyson is originally from Washington, Pennsylvania and has been living in Sylvania for nearly 17 years. Her husband David is the Utility Manager with the City of Sylvania. They have two children, Teagan (15) and Mckenna (12).
