My wife and I were purchasing our first home and Allison was referred to us by multiple friends that have used her before. I am somewhat of a pessimist and was unsure of the value that a realtor would provide for the money. This was due to multiple stories I had heard of poor realtors not providing much value then showing up for "their cut". All of my concerns were a non issue with Allison, she went completely above and beyond in every aspect of the process. Whether it was finding houses that met our requirements (she did not try to push us above our budget), accommodating our schedule to see them, advising us on pricing, or walking us through the inspection, appraisal, mortgage and closing process. You can tell that she genuinely cares that you are happy with the home buying process and the outcome. She is extremely responsive and did not pass us off to anyone else, she dealt with everything herself and even called third party companies regarding warranty questions. Allison is like having your personal home buying assistant and will help you handle any situation that arises throughout the process. My husband contacted Allison based on a listing she had however we quickly learned that the house was under contract. Based on our minimal interaction with her, we decided we would like for her to help us find our first home. She was so very sweet to work with. She showed us several houses and really helped us narrow down what we liked and what we didn't. She never rushed us, and in fact there were about 3 houses (including the one we choose) where she sat with us for over 2 hours in the house working out the pros and cons. She is very well connected with other contractors, etc and would reach out to them for us with questions we had while looking at properties. Allison was honest, helpful and overall very kind. Allison did an amazing job marketing our home. She got traffic through the door. She hired a professional photographer to take pictures of our home. I think that really showed our home in the best possible light. Allison understood our neighborhood and the market. I felt she listed our home for a price that got us maximum profit and a reasonably short sell time. Our home sold just short of the average number of days for our area. The buyer had some issues with their loan that caused us delays in closing. Allison stayed on top of it and made sure to communicate with us the reasons for the delay and what she was doing to move the process forward as quickly as possible.
