Al and Sandie are an incredible team! From the beginning when we were just starting to think about buying a house, they took the time to understand what we were looking for and helped us understand what the home buying process was going to be like. They were very knowledgeable about what the housing market was like, and let us know what to expect at each stage. We viewed over 20 homes, and honestly we started to get discouraged because we weren’t having much luck. I actually cried while on the phone with him, asking if this just wasn’t the right time, or if we needed to severely lower our standards to be able to get something. Al could recognize that we were losing motivation, but he wouldn’t let us give up. He worked late, made tons of calls, did lots of research, and put together another showing day, and the first house we saw that day ended up being the one we bought!! During the buying process, the sellers weren’t the easiest to work with. Al took care of everything for us. He negotiated the terms for us, and when the house appraised for less than what our offer was, he helped us navigate what to do. All the way down to closing day, when we did our final walk through, the sellers had left a bunch of stuff behind (junk, broken things under the deck, etc). Al was on it right away, calling the sellers agent to have someone come take care of it, and it was taken care of that day so we could move in and start enjoying our new home. He has truly been there for us through the whole thing, and even still while we get settled in our home, I know if we have any questions or problems he is just a call or text away. We are so grateful for Al and Sandie!!

With Al's advice and help, our house looked good enough to get an offer on the first day. And then a second offer. He negotiated with the agents and got us an even BETTER offer. We ended up getting about 3% more than we were asking, which we were NOT expecting at all, given the market conditions and the sale of our neighbor's house. And after we were under contract, everything went incredibly smoothly. I was worried the entire time that something was going to go wrong, but Al continually reassured me that we'd make it happen, and we did. It was a pleasure working with Al and his wife Sandie, and I'll be recommending Al every time someone I know is selling (or buying) a house.

This was a big decision and a bit of a daunting process, as we were looking up in the foothills where septic and wells are a thing, internet can be hit or miss, property can be of varying quality, etc. We didn't know where to start, but wanted someone with knowledge of mountain properties. We found Al through a glowing recommendation from a friend, and with Al's 30+ years of realty experience in the Denver area, including plenty of work up in the hills, we trusted Al and Sandie to help us out. Like I said, this whole process was not simple, and every step of the way I was worried something was going to go off the rails, but Al kept the train on the tracks and dealt with our neuroses during the house-buying process. He was always responsive when I had concerns or questions, and when issues arose, he was on top of them immediately. While we were waiting to close, my parents were in town and I wanted to show them the house. Al took the time out of his Saturday to drive up and show them around the house! The friend who recommended Al had purchased in the heart of Denver, and after our experience, I can confidently say that Al can help find a house anywhere from urban Denver to the rural foothills communities and everything in between.
