Once I made the definite decision to put my condo unit on the market, and relocate across the country, my path with A.J. Elserougi easily intersected, since we were living just a few blocks apart. During my first appointment with him, I realized that he and I could work very well in tandem, the communication and understanding of my situation not becoming issues at all. On the contrary, since we outlined, in detail, the timeline of when and how I should sell my piece of property, we worked flawlessly as a team. No time spent on nonsense conversations, just on numerous phone calls, with him graciously listening. He was always readily available to answer my many questions, whether over the phone or by email. On occasion, he went to great length to offer suggestions which would make the tiresome process of packing/selling/moving process, less painful. Now that I am already settled in my new place, and the selling of my property in Colorado is behind me, I had time to reflect and, also, to compare A.J. to all the other real estate agents whom I came across over the years. A.J. is not only knowledgeable in his profession, but he seems to have the calling for it, showing maturity in how to deal with his clients. To sum up my experience with A.J., I perceived him as an agent who could handle a real-estate transaction very well in a competitive and aggressive real-estate market. He treated me professionally, understandingly, and compassionately, from day one. He showed a humble approach when setting our goals, after he and I discussed the logistics. He was respectful in the way he answered the many phone calls from me, was always available to take questions and, when and where possible, to offer suggestions. Yes, it did feel like he pushed me at times, but he did so when he must have sensed that I showed signs of not following through with my own timeline. He gave me accurate estimates regarding the outcome of my goals, his attention to detail being outstanding.
